VenueDesk Privacy Notice
Pre-launch draft. This notice describes the intended operating model and should receive legal review before public subscription sales begin.
Information we process
VenueDesk may process account details, business and venue information, booking information, billing identifiers, support communications, security logs, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
How information is used
Information is used to provide and secure VenueDesk, operate customer workspaces, process subscription status, deliver account communications, support users, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability.
Payments
Subscription checkout is handled by Stripe. VenueDesk is designed to store the billing identifiers and subscription state required to operate the service, not full payment card numbers.
Tenant data
VenueDesk customer workspaces are logically separated from other tenants. Customers remain responsible for the booking information and other customer data they choose to collect through their workspace, including providing any notices or obtaining any permissions required for their business.
Security
VenueDesk uses account authentication, tenant-scoped access controls, role-aware permissions, and operational security controls intended to reduce unauthorized access to customer information.
Retention and deletion
Operational, billing, security, and tenant information may be retained as needed to provide the service, satisfy legitimate business and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. Final production retention periods and deletion procedures should be documented before launch.
Contact
Privacy questions may be sent to [email protected]. A working mailbox or forwarder for this address should be configured before public launch.
